one helluva day
interview this morning for a job i really want
[ horticulture apprenticeship ]
then, freaked out that only two days left of work
[ before i’m unemployed ]
so applied for unemployment benefit
and arranged meeting for next Wednesday
then, after work i had two interviews at a recruitment agency
for a job that’d require me to go self-employed as a contractor
and thus, it’d...

my official half-marathon time was 1hr48:06
595th place out of 1800
ANNNND finally…
on Wednesday i have my big interview
for the apprenticeship
EEK.
my half-marathon result
[ soooo i was tentatively aiming for under 2hrs ]
the first 5km were pretty sore
then my shin splints sorta faded
at the turn-around point i overtook my boss from work
he was aiming for 1hr50
[ so i didn’t know if i was doing well,
or if he was doing not so well ]
then in the last 2km i overtook the 1hr50 pace setter
sooooo…
actual time is to be confirmed
but around 1hr48
...

the fear of inadvertent self-destruction
it’s 9.30pm i’m going to try to sleep soon because tomorrow at 8am i am running a half-marathon though i have trained for this i have repeatedly had to stop running for weeks at a time because of shin splints so, quite frankly: i am scared of tomorrow i surfed today and that was much needed [ even though i’m now super-devoid of energy ] good night folks i’ll let you know...
