it’s 9.30pm
i’m going to try to sleep soon
because
tomorrow at 8am
i am running a half-marathon
though i have trained for this
i have repeatedly had to stop running for weeks at a time
because of shin splints
so, quite frankly: i am scared of tomorrow
i surfed today
and that was much needed
[ even though i’m now super-devoid of energy ]
