i’ve just been out walking. it is wintery now. the more beautiful everything is, the more ache i feel inside. i guess, the more alone.

i was listening to alexi murdoch and thinking. i was sure that the sky was on fire behind the hills. behind me the arch of a rainbow and the tender first drops of rain. gusts made whole branches fight with the wind, held by the wrists, they were struggling to be free. the sounds of chattering birds, of joy and company, and then they burst out into the sky, silhouettes dancing. i wondered if it was their time to leave. winter is coming, waterproofs and hoods, scarves and hats.

this world is so unbelievably beautiful, i sorta felt like i was the only one noticing it, everyone else acted unaffected. i don’t know, i have always been an odd one.
